I am a BIG believer in the power of coffee. My addiction started pretty early and it definitely hasn’t slowed down one bit. It’s bad! You really don’t want to be around me if I haven’t had my first cup yet…
I’ve seen so many articles circulating the internet on the positive side affects of coffee, but also some negative ones. We need some alternatives in our lives when we don’t want to rely on that morning cup of coffee. Work days can get long and coffee can get boring. Here are some other ways you can achieve that energy boost:
- Swap out that cup of coffee for a cup of GREEN TEA. It will still give you a caffeine boost but has so many other benefits! Benefits include clearing up your skin to boosting your metabolism. What a win, win!
- Start your day with some EXERCISE! Working out in the mornings will actually give you more lasting energy throughout the day. It gets you moving, your blood flowing and already feeling productive before you step into the office. Check out my post here about morning workouts.
- Replace your first cup of coffee with HOT WATER AND LEMON. This magical drink can still give you a small energy boost because of the lemon and will also clean your digestive system in the morning. You may also be able to cut out the extra cup of coffee if you’ve replaced it with something else.
