Not going to lie, I’m sick of all these Nordstrom Anniversary Sale posts. From my own blog and from the others I read daily. The last day to shop the sale is August 7th and I’m actually counting down the days! If I see this suede jacket or these booties advertised on someones blog one more time, I think I might lose it.
Now that the wallet is suffering and my small, New York sized closet is full, my wardrobe is ready to take on fall. Here is what I’m looking forward to in a few months:
- I can’t wait until my morning walks through Madison Square Park are filled with orange and yellow leaves. Don’t get me wrong, I love the luscious greenery this park has to offer but the fall foliage is my all time favorite.
- Pumpkin flavored everything! Something about the taste of pumpkin makes me so happy. Not sure if it reminds me of Thanksgiving and being around family or of an absolutely beautiful time of year but I can’t wait until coffee shops and bakeries are packed with this flavor.
- I’m a sucker for a cable knit sweater. That’s why I’m so excited to wear this BP Lightweight Carigan when the weather gets cooler. The light beige color is going to go perfectly with fall dresses and jumpsuits. If I have this cardigan with me, I can keep wearing some of my favorite summer pieces through the fall too.
It’s only the beginning of August so we still have time to enjoy the rest of the summer. What should I do with my last month of summer in the city??
